advent: part three
Are you tired of seeing this yet? I promise this will be the last advent related post, but I did want you to see what it looks like when finished. I have loved watching the kids carefully figure out where each ornament should go, and they are so excited to put the star on top. Here are the last of the ornaments:
Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks for posting close up photos of your cute ornaments. I've been making an advent calendar for my sister's bday and I'm struggling with the ornaments. Your photos are exactly what I was needing!!
I just made a very similar one...but THIS is what I wanted mine to look like! Beautiful work. Merry Christmas!
Your blog was the first American craft blog I ever followed and I still love it. And this advent calendar has been on my to-do list for years, I'm so proud I finally pulled if off!
Thank you so much for the inspiration, if you like to look at my Swedish calendar version you'll find pictures here: http://createohlala.blogspot.se/2013/01/diy-tuesday-advent-calendar-gor-det.html
I borrowed some ideas from you and added a few Swedish Christmas ornaments. I hope to make this a long-term part of our family's Christmas traditions. Thanks again.
Llevo tiempo pensando en hacer el calendario, me parece original y la verdad es que precioso.
Tengo material y muchas ganas de poner a ello pero me encuentro con una duda; ¿Qué medida tomo de referencia para los adornos, árbol, casillas de días..?
Muchas gracias
what are the dimensions, what fabric did you use for the background, What size are the pockets? It is so cute my married children want one. I made one years ago and it got to dirty to use, so I am glad to see one thanks
