dress shirt quilts #4

I steumbled onto the site for Ocheltree Design and fell in love with this quilt by Richard Killeaney. Made from recycled shirts and organic sateen.

I can't tell you how much I love it. This one shown below is beautiful as well..

These are gorgeous. A few years ago I went to Romania to visit a friend who worked with orphans, and my first thougth was wouldn't it so great to get quilters together to make quilts for these kids, who live in cold, colorless worlds so they have something warm and beautiful. And their own.
