packages tied up with string

Oh Heather.. thank you, thank you.

It is so fun to open your mailbox and pull out a little package that you can see has been made with love and wrapped with such care. 

It's almost too pretty to eat.. but that hasn't stopped me!

i made peppermint bark this year too... i love the little pan idea and giving it in a big chunk like that. i wonder what kind of pan she used? maybe i could use my bread pans.

now i have to get to staples to get the supplies for cute tags like you made. too bad i already gave away half the peppermint bark. those folks just got a plain white gift tag. bummer for them.

one more thing... made the orange rolls part deux for a christmas party pot luck last night and they were gone in like 27 seconds. as i was holding the tray, walking to the table to put them down, people were swooping on them like vultures. i was left holding a big ball of foil for like an hour.

you have the best recipes.
