purl calendar giveaway

One thing you might want to add to your Christmas list is Purlsoho.com's new calendar, full of projects from their blog, the Purl Bee. I am already loving the way it looks on my inspiration board. I've been designing this calendar for the past few months, and believe me when I say it was quite a feat to pick only twelve of our favorite projects. We ended up with a nice mix of sewing and patchwork, crochet and knitting projects.

Each month features a different project, with a lovely photo on the front and the materials you need for each project on the back (along with the link to the detailed project instructions on the Purl Bee.)

And the lovely ladies over at Purlsoho have given me two calendars to giveaway! Please leave a comment to enter. The kids and I will pick a winner Tuesday 12/15, so please enter by 12/14. That should give us plenty of time to ship them to the winners before the New Year. Happy 2010! Comments are now closed!

Hi there,

I can see the competition is quite strong here, but I would LOVE one of those calendars. They look beautiful, and with some great inspiration.

I discovered your blog a few weeks ago, and I am addicted ;) I come here every day, and I am ashamed that this is my first comment... I've loved so much of what you've written, and have gotten so many great ideas from you.

A friend of mine is getting her own "jar of magical thinking" for Christmas this year, and next year I'll definitely make a copy of that beautiful felt-calendar. The gift-tags are already made and ready and waiting. The books you've brought to light sounds beautiful, and I'v just sorry they're not available in Norwegian. Maybe I'll have to translate them myself ;) And the thank you-notes; I adore them!

Yeah, I'm from Norway. Don't really remember how I stubled upon your wonderful blog, but girl, am I glad I did!

I would like to leave you today with a quote from President Barack Obamas acceptance speech at the Nobel Peace Prize-reception (that found place here in Oslo today): "So let us reach for the world that ought to be - that spark of the divine that still stirs within each of our souls."

And that would make the world a beautiful place! I hope you fabulous day!

Lotsoflove from an inspired reader.
